The Batman Part II Set Videos Reveal The Moment [Spoiler] Is Destroyed And It's Bad News For Batman

New footage from the set of The Batman Part II reveals an action-packed moment that destroys an iconic part of the Dark Knight's world and potentially spells bad news for Bruce Wayne.

Work continues on The Batman Part II, and after the destroyed remains of the Batmobile were spotted on set, we now see the moment when the Dark Knight's primary means of transport is wrecked.

This is likely the culmination of Batman's battle with the GCPD, and if the hero is in the car...well, it can't be good news for Bruce Wayne. However, it's unlikely this is connected to other recent footage that showed Alfred Pennyworth attempting to revive the billionaire.

What exactly causes the Batmobile to be flung down a Gotham City street remains to be seen. However, its destruction should open the door to the Caped Crusader getting a new vehicle that many fans will no doubt hope is more in line with the comics.

Batmobile action in 2022's The Batman was limited, with it primarily used when the vigilante was chasing down The Penguin. This time, it seems we can expect even more action, even if things don't necessarily go Bruce's way.

The sequel's plot is a closely guarded secret, but an early glimpse at the action like this only increases excitement among fans. This could, however, be a major spoiler for the movie, which is always a risk when a production is filmed in view of the public.

"He’s Batman, so if he doesn’t like it, not good," Reeves previously said of Robert Pattinson's reaction to The Batman 2's script. "So, I was super excited because I thought that he really would [like it] because the things that it does for his character, for Batman, and for [Bruce Wayne] has never been done before in this way."

"And I had a feeling he would respond in this way; the fact that he did was incredibly encouraging," he continued, with Pattinson himself later hailing it as "extraordinary." The actor added, "I think it’s going to be a really, really special movie and very, very different. Even from the last one. I was reading it and like, 'oh wow'. It's going to be interesting seeing it come out. It’s taking some big swings."

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script by him and Mattson Tomlin, The Batman Part II stars Robert Pattinson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright, Charles Dance, Jayme Lawson, Gil Perez-Abraham, Sebastian Koch, and Brian Tyree Henry.

The Batman Part II is set to be released in theaters on February 18, 2028.

@Loverboy83 - Isn't the whole idea of the batmobile that it actually isn't normal?

@Loverboy83 - “normal Batmobile”? Which previous iteration was normal? This Batmobile was as normal as it gets.

I had some problems with the first, but the bad ass muscle car Batmobile was not one of them. I guess it’s done. Hopefully his S&M mask gets destroyed too so they have to replace it, lol

Perhaps this is related to the junkyard set mentioned some time ago. Maybe the villains will drag the Batmobile with Batman trapped inside.

Once there, Alfred tracks the Batmobile using a locator and gets involved in a shootout with men wearing Owl masks.

@Repian - it seemed like that resuscitation scene was near water and he wasn’t in costume so I think it might be seperate and not related to this.

Goddamn it , not that beauty of a car!!.

Whatever reason it gets destroyed , I hope Bruce rebuilds it but it’s still pretty similar to the original in all its sleek muscle car glory since it fits Reeves stylized yet grounded take imo.

Anyway , the Burton one is still my favorite in live action but this is a close second!!.
