Batman Begins. The best Batman film of all time. Why is it the best? The answer is simple.
Out of all the Batman films Batman Begins gave us the best look into Bruce Wayne's head. It showed us why he does what he does. Beyond that it even shows us how he does what he does in great detail. I'll give everyone that The Dark Knight might be the best MADE film out of all other films, but as far as which is the best BATMAN film I'm giving it to Batman Begins every time.
We see Bruce loose his parents. We see the dark path it sends him on. We get to watch in detail as he starts to understand the criminal mind. The fact Bruce even starts to sympathize with those who steal to survive. Bruce Wayne is fleshed out in a way that has almost never been seen before. Oh wait. Maybe it has. Which leads me to the second best Batman film of all time.
This film does almost exactly what I just said Batman Begins gives us. It gives me the character of Bruce Wayne fleshed out. It makes us care about his journey. It helps us understand the pain he has over the lose of his parents. Some might even argue that it is THE BEST Batman film ever.
The Dark Knight is a great film, but at the end of the day the reason we love it so much is because of how well written and acted the Joker was through out the film. But I'm a bigger Batman fan than a Joker fan which is why I prefer Batman Begins to The Dark Knight. I will give you guys that the kidnapping scene in Japan and the Batman vs S.W.A.T. team scene is some of the best action scenes in all of action films.
So in conclusion, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are both great films. Not only two of the best comic book films ever, but two of the better films ever made. So what the heck happened to The Dark Knight Rises? What a crap film. Damn third film curse!
