Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released in 2016 to mostly negative reviews, but the movie really isn't all that bad, and there are plenty of high points for fans of the comic books to enjoy. Recently, social media celebrated the four-year anniversary of BVS's arrival in theaters (remember those?), and director Zack Snyder responded with a glorious behind the scenes photo!
The filmmaker captured a once in a lifetime shot of Ben Affleck chilling out behind the scenes of the DC Comics movie, as he enjoys having some cool air blown on him while decked out in his Batsuit.
Affleck recently admitted that he had a great time working on Batman v Superman with Snyder, and photos like these appear to prove that's the case. Justice League, on the other hand, was not a pleasurable experience for the actor and filmmaker, hence why he decided to move on from the DCEU.
Now, the mantle of Batman has been passed on to English actor Robert Pattinson.
Hopefully, he will have a better time as the character than Affleck did, but with work called to a halt on The Batman due to COVID-19, we have no way of knowing for sure when we'll first see him as Bruce Wayne. Originally scheduled for June 2021, it's expected that the film will be delayed by Warner Bros.
