The United Kingdom VUE cinema chain has released a new extended synopsis for Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, giving us a much better insight into the circumstances that bring the two DC icons into conflict. Check it out after the jump...
Thanks to VUE, we have this brand new UK synopsis for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. It doesn't provide any new plot details exactly, but we do get a better idea of what drives the Dark Knight to take up his crusade against the Man of Steel.
Also, does it hint that Superman's actions prompt Bruce Wayne to take up the mantle of the Batman after a lengthy absence from the cape n' cowl? That would certainly be in keeping with the events of Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, anyway.
“Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth.
As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman’s wrongs.
