Doesn't Look Like Ben Affleck Needed Much Padding On The New BATMAN Costume

Yesterday Zack Snyder revealed the very first image of Affleck in the new Bat-suit, and he looked big..like, really big! Some fans assumed the suit was padded, but these recent paparazzi snaps taken of the actor as he leaves a tavern in California suggest differently..

Now obviously the costume provides a bit of extra definition etc, but I think it's safe to say that Ben Affleck will be playing the most physically imposing Bruce Wayne/Batman we've seen on screen thus far. What do you guys think? Does he look a little TOO big for a character that is, after all, supposed to be as agile as he is powerful? You can see the full batch of pics at the link below.

Tentatively titled Batman vs. Superman, the movie is directed by Zack Snyder from a story by David Goyer and screenplay by Chris Terrio, and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey, with Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne, and Jeremy Irons. And as of right now, the film is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.

I said the same thing...lol But I guess the armor around his legs will add more girth to his legs and etc. He'd really look like the cartoon batman if hid legs were that small and his upper body were that big. lol

He has that big guy look, which is awesome!! While cavil has a more cut defined weigh lifters body, maybe to emphasized his Kryptonian genetics

Cavill looked more muscular in his shirtless scenes in MOS...Superman wins.
I would like some beard stubble on Batman...look more grizzled & tough.

Kudos to Ben for being able to still add decent size while in his 40's. I agree with the leg comments, but admit that a guy his height, build, and age might have too many knee/hip/ankle issues to attack the squat rack the way he would need to. I love what they did with the suit. It really compliments him.

I think we're supposed to assume there's some kind of protection underneath the suit. Not literally, of course, but the padding is probably some bulletproof vest or something in the movie, almost some sort of basic "armor" (not robust like in the Nolan movies, though).
