We may just be getting a new trailer for Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice sooner than any of us expected! According to heroic Hollywood's sources, Warner Bros. is planning to debut two minute-long teasers towards the end of October. The first will be Superman-themed and is set to air on Monday October 26 during CBS's Supergirl premiere, and the second Batman-focused teaser will be shown the very same night over on FOX during Gotham.

Word is, the plan is for both teasers to lead to a full, theatrical trailer that will screen in November on Thanksgiving in front of Creed, and possibly Spectre and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, also.

Mayimbe cautions that we shouldn't take this as Gospel just yet, but remember he did break the news of that IMAX trailer event that took place back in April, so this is definitely worth keeping an eye on at least. Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice hits theaters on March 25th, 2016

I won't be sold on Affleck as Batman until I see him do a back flip.

Holy crap that is an awesome idea!

I wonder if Marvel Studios will do something similar. I mean of course they can't anymore but there are endless possibilities of how to creatively market the film.

Hm, not sure about this. I mean sure, it's good for the ratings, especially Supergirl since it's a new show with lots of potential. But we still have 4 months after that, so does that mean we'll get another trailer + tv spots/clips? I don't think marketing wise this is a good idea, since we already got one trailer in mid July. It'd be better if we got another trailer in like end November/early December.

That would be great marketing if true...

Didn't El Mayimbe say that they would do this before? Like when the first teaser came out? And they didn't? Sorry, He may be right some of the time, but when it comes to Batman V Superman (especially with that script fiasco) I'm going to be on the side of....

I would really love it if this were true. But what happened last Winter and Spring should be a reminder. November is a much safer bet, but I think December might be the better bet.

As for Civil War, Marvel should drop that now.

No more trailers for me. I think the 4 minute one is enough.

Then again, I'll wind up watching it anyway because I have no self discipline.

The Comic-Con trailer already showed a LOT from the movie. I think my thirst for more footage has quenched until the movie actually comes out.

It sounds plausible. But my problem is that I seen enough of the movie, but I'm weak and probably gonna see the next trailer :(

I know this is a lie. There won't be enough footage of Superman in the movie to make a 2 minute trailer.

Mayimbe cautions we don't take it as gospel because he is as usual nerd speculating. If any of us listed our top 50 predictions for the film we would be at least 10% correct. No sources,no inside scoops...just a 2 bit malook trying to get clicks off of hungry for any news nerds.

@WakandasSoul

Of course it's overdue.......they've shown lots of footage at D23 and soon in the Philippines....

But I've got a feeling a teaser will come soon.....then a full trailer in front of SW..
