Provided this is legit, the magazine scan below finally confirms which characters will be played by the likes of Scoot McNairy, Jena Malone and Callan Mulvey in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice.

It was rumored that Malone would be playing an incarnation of Robin (most likely Carrie Kelly) for a while before speculation switched to Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, and it seems the latter is true. Chances are we won't see Babs suit up in this movie, but it's nice to know the groundwork has been laid for future DC instalments.

Despite recent rumours to the contrary, it appears Scoot McNairy is playing Jimmy Olsen after all, while Mulvey has also been confirmed as Anatoli Knyazev, AKA KG Beast.

“Following his titanic struggle against General Zod, Metropolis has been razed to the ground and Superman is the most controversial figure in the world. While for many he is still an emblem of hope, a growing number of people consider him a threat to humanity, seeking justice for the chaos he has brought to Earth.

As far as Bruce Wayne is concerned, Superman is clearly a danger to society. He fears for the future of the world with such a reckless power left ungoverned, and so he dons his mask and cape to right Superman’s wrongs. The rivalry between them is furious, fueled by bitterness and vengeance, and nothing can dissuade them from waging this war. However, a dark new threat arises in the form of a third man: one who has a power greater than either of them to endanger the world and cause total destruction.

The superhero stand-off that the world has been waiting for is finally arriving in cinemas, with an all-star cast bringing to life the characters we all love. Zack Snyder (300) returns as director following the huge success of 2013’s Man of Steel, along with Henry Cavill (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) in the role of Superman. Also starring Ben Affleck (Gone Girl) as Batman, Amy Adams (American Hustle) as Lois Lane, and Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 7) as Wonder Woman, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is an explosive, action-packed blockbuster that is sure to thrill DC fans everywhere.”

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters March 25th, 2016.

Well then, looks like Faraci and Mayimbe were wrong about Jenna Malone. They better be wrong about Gordon being dead in this universe.

Just so you guys know, because I did ask about this: this isn't really official, because this French magazine might've just been using the rumors for the article. If it is, it is; but, it's a wait and see from official sources on whether they are playing these roles. Plus, if France has this, how come we didn't hear anything here at the same time? It does sound like they just used the rumors.

I'm a little annoyed by the fact that it seems like Batmans heyday is behind him in this universe. I feel like Batman's first solo movie should be a prequel

@HAILHYDRA - No way......keep in mind he will be in JL!

@HAILHYDRA - OR his first solo could be Under the Hood, in which the killing joke already happened, Nightwing is already doing his thing, and Tim Drake is just starting off being Robin (on his own accord, like in the comics)

@HAILHYDRA - To add onto what GoogleWasMyIdea said, this also leaves the door open to recent stories and usage of characters without having to waste time on origins. While I'm sure certain origins will still be explored from here on out, lack of origins didn't get in the way of the success of the Arkham series. They can totally go right into a Two-Face story, or adapt Court of Owls or loosely plot a Zero Year story involving Riddler. There's still a ton they can do with the character. Debatably, they have more freedom with him being older. And now Batman is being introduced to alien elements, something we'll not only be seeing on film for the first time, but we'll this interpretation of Batman reacting to that for the first time as well.

I was told it was some sort of promotional booklet and if that's the case this is official, but since we can't know for sure I'll mark it as a rumor.

@JSamueliaml8 - l was wondering if you put a picture of Stephanie on purpose and were hinting to a future with her as Batgirl and now I think you are. So if I'm not looking too much into your meaning I can get behind Stephanie as Batgirl.
