Zack Snyder Planning WATCHMEN Style JUSTICE LEAGUE Montage For BATMAN v SUPERMAN?

You remember the incredible montage which kicked off Zack Snyder's Watchmen movie, right? Well, it sounds like the filmmaker has something similar planned for the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with regards to setting up Justice League, so hit the jump for details...

Take this one with a huge pinch of salt (especially given the source), but a new report may have shed some light on what we should expect in regards to how Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is going to lead into the events of Justice League. Apparently, Zack Snyder will utilise a montage sequence similar to the one from Watchmen (presumably depicting the heroes working together), and if true, it sounds like an awesome idea. After all, Snyder's work on the sequence which opened up his adaptation of Alan Moore's classic graphic novel was incredible, and seeing these heroes together in something similar would be mind-blowing. However, after what happened with Star-Lord's father and countless other scoops from this site, it's definitely best not to get too excited just yet. In fairness though, they've had plenty of fairly reliable Batman v Superman information in the past, so it's worth at least considering the possibility that this is legit. Regardless, we likely won't find out whether or not it's true until next March. Let us know your thoughts on this below.

Hope so, it was one of my favorite things from Watchmen, seeing the development of the first generation, their downfall and the rise of the next generation. It painted a picture within a few minutes as to what happened to these characters. I think a nice montage at the end could be used to set the tone beyond BvS and not have it in stasis until the next movie like what happened from MoS to BvS

So thy are going to Age of Ultron this? When the Justice League movie starts they will already be a formed team? I can see that happening. Especially if they wanna do something different from the FIRST Avengers movie where we saw them get recruited and they didn't really become a team until the end.

...Eh. It worked with Watchmen. It may look corny in JL.

great way to have their own, unique, midcredits scene to set up future films. Hope this is true, it just makes a lot of sense.

@ManCalledSting

I know. I'm going to have to contact the head of the Archer's Union, apologize, and provide a "donation" so that they will come out and say that I'm not so bad.

"Take this one with a huge pinch of salt (especially given the source)"

Well then if you don't even think its a viable source why are you reporting on it?

Yeah, I dunno why El Mayimba is trying to pretend that he "scooped" this. The reddit guy said this was the case a couple of weeks ago. Either way, it sounds great if true.

Wouldn't make much sense unless the JL team is assembled by the end of the film

I actually hope we get a opening montage of Batman and Superman! At the end maybe another montage of the JL.

Heck I don't care we are getting Batman, Superman, and WW together on the big screen for the first time!

This would be pretty damn cool, but how the hell does this make sense? A JL montage before they're even introduced? I guess it can kind of be like the avengers teaser at the end of cap: tfa....idk I'm just not understanding this one

@SonOfOdor

I bet it is a montage of the events after MOS!

I agree a montage in the beginning about JL would be down right stupid!

my guess:

Rotten Tomatoes: 60%

it'll have some of the best fight scenes but nothing much else. it'll be like watching a Transformers movie.

If this is true, then not only is it awesome, but I totally called it more than a year ago.
Imagine if Maybe flat out scooped a confirmation on both this and the Jason Todd thing for Christmas. I would not have a bad word to say about him ever, after that.

@JoeMomma29 I hope they pull it off if so! It seems like a cool idea, just all depends on execution

Yea, it's going to be a montage and then "DAWN OF JUSTICE" will come up.

Fade to credits.

Seeing as we know Green Arrow exists in this universe hopefully he will get a mention too. Plus I'm also game for seeing a hint of Martian Manhunter. Justice League is so going to be a beast if you can have the team being nine instead of seven. Even if not JL will still be a beast of a movie.
