BIRDS OF PREY Posters Shine A Spotlight On Harley Quinn & The Colorful Cast of Characters

As we await a new trailer, Warner Bros. has released an extremely colorful series of character posters for Cathy Yan's eagerly awaited Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), spotlighting the seven principal cast members.

The banners feature artistic interpretations of Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Black Canary (Jurnee Smollett-Bell), Huntress (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez), Cassandra Cain (Ella Jay Basco), Roman Sionis (Ewan McGregor) and Victor Zsasz (Chris Messina).

The new batch of posters are designed in the same vein as the one we saw yesterday, which drew inspiration from Sandro Boticelli's "The Birth of Venus," and are a considerable improvement over the very Harley Quinn-centric teaser posters that were released back in September.

To check out the new posters, simply click on the VIEW LIST (ONE PAGE) button below!

Since the events of Suicide Squad, Batman has disappeared, leaving Gotham City unprotected from crime, and Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When Cassandra Cain, a young girl, comes across a diamond belonging to crime lord Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya to help protect her.

Birds of Prey features:
Director: Cathy Yan

Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary
Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Helena Bertinelli/Huntress
Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya
Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain
Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis/Black Mask

If I was a girl or a woman who never read a comic book in my life, maybe I would like that movie.

I bet that the director Cathy Yan has never read a comic book

I think that this movie is adressed mainly to that public, to all girls or women,

Anyway, Margot Robbie is beautifull, wonderful and an excelent actress. If I finally watch that movie is just for her

These look like promo pics for an FX series. Now take that in a positive or negative way is entirely up to you.

@Polaris - yea the actual concept of the posters is dope.

If only it were applied to something more worthwhile

@BlackBeltJones - They're definitely not bad. I was just hoping for something a little closer to the books.

Huntress looks like the only one that slightly resembles her comic book counterpart. Meanwhile, Black Mask looks like he just got cut out of Panic! at the Disco.

@BlackBeltJones - I think Law Abiding Citizen had a similar scene to this of Gerald Butler talking about how they killed his baby girl that would have the same concept as this gif. Unfortunately it's not as iconic to be gifable.
