DC FanDome is set to get underway in just a few hours time, and Black Adam is one of the many DCEU movies that'll be showcased during the online event. A teaser (possibly even a full trailer) is expected, and star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has now given fans a little taste of what to expect.
The actor shared a video featuring a couple of brief new shots from the film, as we see his powerful antihero about to take to the skies. The teaser also includes interview snippets with Johnson and costar Pierce Brosnan (Dr. Fate).
We're sure to get a first official glimpse of Johnson fully suited-up as Teth Adam later today, but for the impatient among you, some behind-the-scenes photos (from the FanDome showreel, presumably) have also leaked online.
Johnson and Brosnan join Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone. Marwan Kenzari and James Cusati-Moyer have also been cast in supporting roles.
Jungle Cruise director Jaume Collet-Serra is set to helm Black Adam, which has Johnson, Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia of Seven Bucks Productions on board as producers along with Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo. Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani penned the screenplay, which is based off an early story draft from Adam Sztykiel.
Black Adam is set to hit theaters on July 29, 2022.
