AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON's Andy Serkis Spotted On The Set Of Marvel's BLACK PANTHER
It was confirmed a couple weeks ago that Andy Serkis would be reprising his role as Ulysses Klaue in Black Panther, and now we've just caught our first look at the Golden Globe-nominated actor on-set!
Marvel is currently hard at work filming both Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War in Atlanta, and while we probably won't see anything from the latter for some time, we were fortunate enough to receive our first look at one of the returning villains from the Ryan Coogler-directed feature late yesterday afternoon. Golden Globe-nominated actor Andy Serkis (War for the Planet of the Apes) was spotted on-set, reprising his role as the international smuggler/arms dealer Ulysses Klaue from Joss Whedon's 2015 blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The photos, which come to us from AtlantaFilming, aren't all that spoilery, but they do show him sporting some sort of blue glove, which may suggest he's found himself a new hand - or sonic-force blaster, that'll likely be a CGI creation - after his original one was unceremoniously chopped off by Ultron.
The photographer also adds that Serkis was seen shooting scenes with Michael B. Jordan (Creed), who is just to the left of him hiding behind some umbrellas. It's hard to say what this means for the film's plot, but it's more likely than not that Erik Killmonger will be in cahoots with Klaue as he attempts to exact his revenge against Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa.
