Black Panther may still be tearing it up at the box office, but retailers are getting a jump start on the home release for the Marvel blockbuster. Both Target and Best Buy have now listed their retailer exclusive Black Panther home release offerings.

Over at Target, we have the exclusive steelbook Black Panther set which includes the Blu-ray and digital formats along with a 40-page Gallery Book offering filmmaker behind-the-scenes shots. Though no release date is listed, Marvel's Black Panther Target Exclusive can be pre-ordered for $24.99.

For those of you who prefer 4K, you'll have to check out Best Buy who has listed the Black Panther Steelbook 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray/Blu-ray, complete with some pretty impressive packaging art. There's also no release date listed, but it can be pre-ordered for $34.99.

In the meantime, you can still catch Black Panther in theaters. The Ryan Coogler-directed film, which stars Chadwick Boseman as King T'Challa/Black Panther, is likely to become the 2nd biggest Marvel Cinematic Universe film ever at the domestic box office after passing Avengers: Age of Ultron this weekend.

Damn that Steelbook is dope. I never get the Steelbook for the MCU bc I also get all the ABC and Netflix series too and I want them all to match but this one is definitely tempting

@Ha1frican - I have a bad habit of buying multiple bluray sets just for the different packaging. It's a hard habit to break. Love the steelbooks and lately them glossy book casings target has been putting out are very nice.

I've been absolutely captivated by this movie's score since it came out. I pretty much have T'Challa's theme with the horns in my head during every significant moment of my week, and the music from warrior falls and challenge day is on constant repeat. Ludwig really made my favorite CBM score to date, and it'll be interesting to see if they bring any of his stuff back for INFINITY WAR

It'll probably be out on BR/DVD around mid to late June if it follows the pattern of other MCU films being released about 4 months after it's domestic theater release, likely just before Ant-Man and the Wasp is out.
