In a little over a month's time, Marvel will unleash Black Panther into theaters, and these new bios will provide you with some additional details on T'Challa and six of his supporting characters.

Quite a bit of the information is stuff fans of the comic will know already, but there are a few intriguing new tidbits relating to the characters' motivations and how they'll factor into the story. There's a suggestion that Okoye may not continue to stand beside her King when he makes some questionable decisions, for example.

At any rate, each profile is accompanied by a promotional image, so click on to get new looks at Okoye, Nakia, Shuri, Killmonger, M'Baku, Everett Ross and, of course, The King of Wakanda himself.

@SageMode - Amen. And it release precisely a week from my birthday. It could be to MCU what the first Irom Man was to the whole franchise plus it could also be Marvel's "Batman of Africa"

The costumes for this movie are absolutely fantastic. Especially the M'Baku one.

They all look like badass Afrofuturist warriors. I love it.

This has a James bond feel to it.

@Forthas - I believe one of the producers of the film did say the movie is a cross between James Bond and The Godfather. I can definitely see the James Bond bit but I wonder how the The Godfather stuff is done

@BlindWedjat - I am guessing the different clans that are jockeying for power are like the "families" that were trying to become the dominant crime syndicate in the Godfather films.

@BlindWedjat - Nat Moore said The Godfather aspect is the operatic family/rival factions drama.

Coogler said the film sees T'Challa attempting to, "keep harmony between the tribes within his country, and that means managing expectations and doing things that are unpopular. At the same time, he is the protector of that nation."
