Marvel Studios has dropped a new set of character posters for Black Widow ahead of its simultaneous release in theaters and on Disney+ later this summer.

As you can see below, the spotlight is put on Black Widow herself, Natasha Romanoff, along with supporting characters like Yelena Belova, Melina, Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Taskmaster, and Rick Mason. Interestingly, Natasha and Melina are shown here wearing the same costume, a strong indication that it's the latter who gives the fugitive Avenger her upgraded gear.

These posters offer striking new looks at the movie's main characters, and Red Guardian and Taskmaster definitely stand out.

"In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises," reads the synopsis. "Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger."

In the movie, Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige; Black Widow - the first big screen story in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - arrives on July 9th.

Also wondering if they’ll say his name during the movie. Like if anyone will refer to him as TaskMaster.
