BLACK WIDOW: Check Out A New Featurette And Stills Putting The Spotlight On The Movie's Big Bad, Taskmaster

Black Widow is fast approaching, and we now have a new featurette for the movie that will be the first Marvel Studios title to be released simultaneously in theaters and on Disney+.

There's a surprising amount of new footage here (both from the movie and behind-the-scenes), with the Red Room and Taskmaster among the most intriguing and exciting teases given how they've been mostly kept under wraps up until now. There are also comments from Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh.

Check out this featurette for Black Widow below:

Marvel Studios has also shared eight new stills from Black Widow. As well as putting the spotlight on Taskmaster, we get to see more of Natasha Romanoff, Yelena Belova, Melina, and Red Guardian.

O. T. Fagbenle's still quite mysterious character can also be seen here, but don't expect any clues about his identity (he does, however, appear to be in the midst of a heated exchange with Natasha).

"In Marvel Studios' Black Widow, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises," reads the movie's synopsis. "Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger."

In the movie, Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige; Black Widow - the first big screen story in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe - arrives on July 9th both in theaters and on Disney+.

I would be kinda dissappointed if Rachel Weisz' character didn't turn out to be a villain (not Taskmaster, I'm guessing that Olga Kurylenko), because I think that would be fun to see

I hope that Taskmaster turns out to be a memorable villain, but I’ve been hearing a return to form for Marvel in this regard.

I really hope Task Master survives the film. He'd (or she?) be such a cool character to keep around for MCU Shows. Would love to see Task Master vs. Daredevil.

BW's white suit reminds me of the 80s Dune still-suit. I like Taskmaster's look, but it kind of reminds me of the Bo-Katan's armor, and I wish the skull features around the mouth more prominent. If he survives, I can imagine the next iteration going more for the comics the way Captain America did in Avengers after his solo debut.

I initially thought Taskmaster was going to end up being that TO guy, but I heard a rumour that it might end up actually being Olga Kurylenko - God I hope that's true - that would be so great! And really - taskmaster is not that big and seems to be wearing a lot of armour too - totally could be. Might be like a MCU version of Ronin in the comics.
