Had the world not started to fall apart, we would have already seen Black Widow by now. Unfortunately, it's now been pushed to November, and the hope is we will actually be able to visit theaters by then.
The theme of the latest "Collector Corps" box is, as you might expect, Black Widow, and there's a Natasha Romanoff Pop in there which definitely appears to contain a spoiler. Eagle-eyed fans have already figured out that she was wearing Yelena Belova's vest in Avengers: Infinity War, and that's led to speculation that her "sister" dies in this spinoff.
Taking a closer look at the vest in this Pop, though, and there seems to be a bloodstain right where Yelena's heart would have been. Does that mean she gets shot (presumably by Taskmaster) and that Natasha wears (and repairs) the vest as a tribute? That's a popular theory right now.
It's all speculative for the time being, but it's also undeniably interesting. With Black Widow set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, Marvel Studios needs to pull out all the stops in order to surprise fans with this opening instalment of Phase 4.
