According to Variety, Disney/Marvel Studios has officially pushed back the release of Black Widow.

The first (and last) solo outing for Scarlett Johansson's Fallen Avenger was scheduled to hit theaters on May 1. The studio also pulled The Personal History of David Copperfield, and The Woman in the Window.

Disney still has Artemis Fowl scheduled for May 29 and Pixar's Soul for June 19.

As it is with the other movies and TV shows forced to shut down or postpone production (basically everything on every studio's slate for March and April), we have no idea when the Cate Shortland-directed film will see the light of day. We're just going to have to wait and see how this whole miserable situation plays out and hope for an update soon.

"In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger. Scarlett Johansson reprises her role as Natasha/Black Widow, Florence Pugh stars as Yelena, David Harbour portrays Alexei/The Red Guardian, and Rachel Weisz is Melina. Directed by Cate Shortland and produced by Kevin Feige, “Black Widow”—the first film in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—hits U.S. theaters on May 1, 2020." --Marvel Studios."

Black Widow also stars Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, William Hurt, Ray Winstone and Olivier Richters. Let us know if you're looking forward to the movie in the comments.
