Nowadays it appear studio's have become quite lazy in utilizing practical effects or props of any kind for television and film production.
Marvel Studio's has become a major example of this problem, as the studio tends to throw money at their visual-effects and CGI-artists to cultivate something out of thin air - and we know how "underwhelming" the final products have mostly been.
Super-suits are no different, for it seems the actor/actress wearing one could just be wearing a motion capture suit, and the super suit is added on their bodies later on in post-production.
DC's newest film, Blue Beetle, has surprisingly not entirely fallen victim to this ongoing problem among studio's, for a new behind-the-scenes look at Blue Beetle himself, Xolo Maridueña, shows the actor suiting up in a 100% real-life costume.
It can surely feel uncomfortable after a while to be helped into suiting up - as Xolo stands around half the time observing, and looking flat-out bored while the crew members are wrapping the auguments to his suit around his legs.
But of course, if any of us were ever able and fortunate enough to be in the position to dress up in an actual and realistic super-suit, the last thing we'd do would probably be to complain about it.
