Filed Under: Captain America

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

Is Crossbones piloting that Quinjet when Cap is on the bike? Looks like the shirt Grillo was wearing on set (in costume) once. And Bucky's on the hood of the Humvee when that car flips.

It'd be really something if Cap is the one who brings that carrier down.

@MisterJay

It's an update of the original suit. I'm sure if you google search for the SDCC display from this year, you'll see better nerds than me breaking down the upgrades. The obvious ones are the middle red stripe being added, the missing satchel thingie, and the different pouches/belt.

Agents of Shield is a lot of fun and it keeps getting better and better with each new episode. I'm having a blast watching it, so all you grumpy Gusses can sit on a tack and whine if it's not up to your standards. Bunch of whiny bitches.

Ok so I'm just wondering what is with the latest trend in respirator looking masks? First Lex Luthor had one in Smallville, then Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, then Cobra in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, and now the Winter Soldier?

I think i see Maria Hill with Steve and Tasha. Are they looking at Falcon dying? I sure hope not.

Winter Soldier looks [frick]ing amazing. He's such an interesting character, more than Cap IMO. Falcon's flight tech looks brilliants. Anyone notice how there's multiple helicarriers now?

I believe that's Nick Fury on the table. Operating, so maybe not dying.

Thats not flashbacks, its modern day tanks, M16's and modern day tach gear.

Must be the uniform he stole from the museum.

Not M16, but probably ACR or SCAR, definitely modern day tactical gear.

I really hope the advertising for this movie doesn't ruin the twist that the Winter Soldier is Bucky.

Maybe Hill was at home when she got the call. She's gotta have SOMETHING other than the SHIELD jumpsuit in her closet.

@Ruadh, maybe, but my bet is on her going civilian, due to a SHIELD schism.

Anyway, she can wear whatever she wants, for me she is the hottest girl in the MCU :D

The major reveal is obvious. SHIELD has been secretly working with ex-HYDRA agents including Arnim Zola the way the US had worked with ex-Nazis during the Cold War.
