CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 Writer Shares Thoughts On Facing Off With BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN
Talking about his and Stephen McFeely's plans for Captain America 3, Captain America: The Winter Soldier screenwriter Christopher Markus has also shared his thoughts on facing off against Batman Vs. Superman on May 6th, 2016. Hit the jump to check it out!
"There's always a level of expectation and Marvel keeps raising the bar higher and higher," Chris Evans told The Hollywood Reporter when asked about the anticipation surrounding Captain America: The Winter Soldier at last night's world premiere. "But you have confidence that they're going to make a good movie, you kind of let yourself go and allow yourself to be directed. And you really just become one small piece of the Marvel puzzle." When asked how the sequel informs Avengers: Age of Ultron, screenwriter Christopher Markus added: "Obviously we can't kill off the Avengers before they have their second movie. But that's the good thing about Marvel. Even though it's interconnecting universe, the mandate is always 'Do the most exciting things you can do for this movie. Don't save anything.'" As for how work on Captain America 3 is currently progressing, Markus revealed that work is already ongoing in preparation of that 2016 release date! "We've had many, many conversations, and pretty much know where we're going," he said, before talk turned to the possibility of facing off with Batman Vs. Superman on May 6th two years from now. "I think when two cars drive at each other, somebody has to veer off eventually..." Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
