CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD LEGO Set Confirms [SPOILER] Will Take On Sam Wilson In Epic Clash

Red Hulk's presence in Captain America: Brave New World may be the movie's worst-kept secret, but an upcoming LEGO set confirms Sam Wilson will indeed be squaring off with President "Thunderbolt" Ross...

Marvel Studios recently delayed Captain America: Brave New World by a whole year, almost certainly due to planned reshoots which are expected to make sweeping changes to the story and action scenes.

Rumours have been swirling for ages now that President "Thunderbolt" Ross ends up becoming Red Hulk. While we don't know how or why that happens, The Leader being part of this movie offers some clues. As for how Sam Wilson will fare against such a powerful opponent, your guess is as good as ours!

Luckily, the new Captain America will have some help and the description for an upcoming LEGO set not only confirms Red Hulk's presence in Brave New World but reveals that Sam is going to be joined by both the new Falcon and Sabra when he battles this rampaging foe.

While we know better than to look to LEGO sets for story details, these movie-based offerings never feature characters who aren't in the movies themselves. As for why this is scheduled for a 2024 release, it's likely because that's when Captain America: Brave New World was originally set to arrive in theaters.

Last month, it was reported that the MCU's Red Hulk will boast some comic-accurate abilities. As Thunderbolts is scheduled for next July, we can't discount the possibility of the former U.S. President helping fight The Sentry but only time will tell on that front.

Promoting Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny last summer, the idea of playing Red Hulk was presented to Ford who responded by saying, "What is the Red Hulk?" Seemingly feigning confusion, the iconic actor then turned to co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge to chastise her for not knowing more about the character and concluded by saying Red Hulk "may or it may not" be making an appearance.

Since then, we've heard that the movie's final battle is set to take place in front of the White House, bringing a dramatic end to Ross' time as President. He is, however, expected to survive the events of this movie and will probably return in that long-rumoured World War Hulk project.

Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Harrison Ford, Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Liv Tyler, and WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. Julius Onah helms the movie from a screenplay by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson, though the director is believed to have also taken a pass at it. Matthew Orton, meanwhile, is writing new scenes for reshoots later this year.

Captain America: Brave New World arrives in theaters on February 14, 2025.

@Urubrodi -

Yeah, a human with a jet pack ain’t exactly equal to a Hulk.

@Urubrodi - That's why I believe that She-Hulk is the secret cameo. That gives more credibility to the new Avengers roster led by Sam if she helps him.

@SonOfAGif - it's about time we start assembling a new team. So I would really welcome she hulk showing up to the fight, the way spidey did when obsidian and maw showed up to NYC

Will this even be in the movie considering how much they plan to reshoot? Why do they keep sinking money into an obvious bomb like this? Feige cooked? Guess we’ll find out in this brand new year!

@tmp3 - they are just getting rid of the Zionist propaganda. Which they shouldn’t have had from the beginning but the whole genocide hasn’t helped

@Twenty23Three - The fact that Malcolm Spellman ever thought this was a good idea kind of confirms this is headed for a disaster.

@Ryguy88 - the character is seen as incredibly problematic and has often been depicted in a manner than shows Arabs and Palestinians as villains.

@Twenty23Three - sometimes they are villains. Like they were on October 6th. Or when they run their terrorist bases under hospitals and schools and use women and children as human shields.

I like that were getting more hulk centric characters in the MCU, but i'm not so keen that it's being shoved in a Falcon America movie....Universal and Disney need to talk more.
