CAPTAIN AMERICA: NEW WORLD ORDER Reportedly Adds ALITA Star Rosa Salazar As Diamondback

It seems we may now know the identity of the mysterious actress spotted beside Seth Rollins in those recent Captain America: New World Order set photos...

Last week, some spy photos from the set of Marvel Studios' Captain America: New World Order appeared to reveal that Sam Wilson's (Anthony Mackie) first big-screen outing as the Sentinel of Liberty will feature the villainous group known as the Serpent Society.

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins was spotted alongside a mysterious woman (believed to be Diamondback based on her outfit), and we may now know which actress is playing the character.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel, the Maze Runner movies) will appear as Diamondback.

If you have another look at the image below, the actress on the right does indeed appear to be Salazar with blonde hair.

Scooper @MyTimeToShineHello has also weighed in, and she believes Diamondback, not King Cobra, will be the leader of the team.

Diamondback crossed paths with Cap numerous times in the comics, and although she was very much a villain, she actually ended up in a relationship with Steve Rogers. Will this carry over as a plot point for Sam Wilson in New World Order?

Captain America: New World Order also stars Shira Haas as Israeli superheroine Sabra, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader, and Harrison Ford as "Thunderbolt" Ross.

The movie is set to be released in theaters on May 3, 2024.

I’ve always felt that the Serpent Society is pretty lame. I guess we will see if this movie can make them interesting.

This could go either way.

If it is handled in an epic way like Hydra was in Winter Soldier, it could be great.

If the SS is handled like the Flag Smashers in Falcon/WS, it would be a total suck.

Fingers crossed.
