While some may have been seen before, a few promotional images for Marvel's much-anticipated films THOR & Captain America, Michael Bay's Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, Real Steel, and the fourth 'Pirates' movie Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides have made their way online. These promos will most likely be used for toy lines advertising.

Not much to get excited over, but THOR hits the big-screen May 6, Pirates 4 May 20, Transformers 3 July 1, Captain America July 22, and Real Steel hits October 7. What do you think?

Nothing too exciting, but I'm pretty sure this is the first time we've seen that Thor picture as big as that. (Right click, and save - will be using that in a future article, lol) Good stuff DCMF!

I also just finished reading the about half of the Thor script (I'm trying to be strong and save some for opening night) and that ish is feckin' amazing good. It captures the characters SSSOOO well. Odin, I wish Marvel could get all of their properties back.

Thor was my most anticipated movie of 2011 and it's staying that way unless we see something resembling a Captain America script that matches the Thor script. I finished it today and it is genius. If that's the finished article (which im sure it is) and we see it translated that well on screen (no doubt executed perfectly) then we are in for another masterful chapter in Marvel's Cinematic Universe. I don't doubt that we'll see much the same from Cap. It definitely shows that Marvel are having a fair say in how these movies are done as the characters individually took shape, how they should be done, just from words typed onto a page.

I'm just hopefully that Green Lantern sticks reasonably closely to the source material as I'm a huge GL fan (huge as in 'epically into', not rotund)! I can deal with costume changes but if they don't come across as the same kind of character they have done for the past 5 decades then someone has been reading it all wrong!

As for the promos...cool, not great but it's for the box of a toy so I'm not in the mood to bash them.

@TheWorld the images are from the toy artwork that would be on the boxes....they're highly stylized to attract the attention of very young children...the more cartoon-like they appear the more kids will want to buy them

The first two looks fan made. The Thor one looks especially bad. Thought that was a concept picture of him actually, not a real picture, if it is real then its a disappointment.

Hope Hemsworth do a great Thor. However, if not, its always possible to replace the guy, like The Hulk. :)
