Okay i'll start off by saying this is my first Review on this site so don't be too tough. And second i'm disappointed in myself because i still have yet to see 3 CBM's. I haven't been to the movies alot lately so i'm catching up this week.

The Review

1) Capt. on the front lines

I thought this movie was going to be a war movie. Full of battle sequences between the american army and hydra, also filled with Mission featuring Capt. and the Howling Commandos. I was half right. I think that this movie could've been better if Capt. was on the battlefield. You'll see in this fan-made trailer what i wanted to see.

except the horrible acting, Capt. acting like General Phillips and so much blood it would be rated R. Technically Captain America didn't fight against the Nazi's since Red Skull rebelled against the Nazi's early in the movie.

2) The Upsides and Downsides to Bucky.

One thing that i don't like about this movie is Bucky's death early in the movie. I felt that Bucky could've had a much bigger role in this movie then he did. I like the idea of making Bucky and Steve the same age i mean why would you bring a twelve year old boy on to a camp for soldiers to be their mascot. In This they made him a soldier and like a bigger brother to Capt. but once Capt. gets the SS serum he's more like the big brother figure. I think that killing off Bucky in the middle of the movie was a good idea. This could give time for Chris Evans to show his acting chops for real. At this time in movies usually revenge takes over their minds but in this movie they did it slightly different. I don't feel like Captain America wanted to intentionally kill anybody. I wish that they had some little teaser after Bucky dying at least seeing how he lands to the ground, whether it would lead to a Winter Soldier movie or a sequel featuring Winter Soldier or just showing him die.

3) Capturing the movie

I feel like they really captured the main genre's that you would see in a WWII movie. Action, Adventure and Romance. The Action sequences were great. I liked how they did it in a montage instead of doing all these different missions in separate times. The Adventure part of the story was great to. The scene where Steve tries to free the 450 captured soldiers put you on the edge of your seat. The suspense built up in till it exploded out. The romance weren't like most CBM's where they meet and within a week they're kissing like they've been dating for 5 years. In this they added some drama but they didn't make it go to overboard to take away from the most important genre's of the film.

All in all i give Captain America The First Avenger a 4 out've 5

what do you think about it. Do you disagree or agree with me. comment your thoughts below.
