For its third weekend, Captain America: The Winter Soldier is still the number 1 movie in America, and the many folks who worked on the acclaimed Marvel sequel have begun to show off their various contributions. First up is Sebastian Stan's Winter Soldier stunt double, Justin Sundquist, who has taken to Instagram to share some cool behind-the-scenes photos as well as filming of a knee-striking stunt with he and Chris Evans' double, Sam Hargrave. Scroll down for more.

For the Captain America: The Winter Soldier director of photography, Trent Opaloch (pictured below with Stan Lee), the final product caught him by surprise” and greatly exceeded his expectations. In an interview with The Province, Opaloch praised working with duo directors Joe and Anthony Russo, and he also confirmed that he will certainly return as cinematographer for Captain America 3. “It’s a heck of a lot of fun to be working with some of the world’s most professional film technicians and artists,” he said. “The Marvel films really let me scratch that itch, and that’s a really marvellous thing to do — and then for me it’s all about getting back to the lower budget stuff. You have different challenges, they’re more hands on. I’m a bit of a homebody and I have to travel so much for work, so the plan is to stick with commercials for the year and maybe sneak one film in before Cap 3 starts up next year,” Opaloch assured. “But if I don’t find the right project, I am not going to do a film just to do a film.”

Meanwhile, RISE, one of the many visual effects studios on Captain America: The Winter Sodier, has revealed their work on the movie with official images. The VFX vendor's digital compositor, Oliver Hohn, explained to Art of VFX that RISE were behind the look of Nick Fury's eye-patched eye revealation, among other things. “The first step was to find reference material,” said Hohn of the design process. “We searched for pictures showing exactly that kind of wounds and scars. Which is, to be honest, not the most enjoyable thing to do. After that a matte-painter created the first concepts and in parallel we prepared the comp to be able to send the first layouts with the exciting revelation of Fury’s eye.” Check out three official stills below showcasing RISE's work, as well as four other images that were previously unreleased. What do you think?

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy — the Winter Soldier. Starring Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Georges St-Pierre, Hayley Atwell, Toby Jones, Emily VanCamp and Maximiliano Hernández with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Redford, “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is directed by the team of Anthony & Joe Russo from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing the film. Executive producers on the project include Alan Fine, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee. The creative production team on the film includes director of photography Trent Opaloch, production designer Peter Wenham, editors Jeffrey Ford, A.C.E. and Mary Jo Markey, A.C.E. and three time Oscar®-nominated costume designer Judianna Makovsky. “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” is set for release on April 4, 2014.

There was nothing I disliked about this movie. I would say anyone or company that had to do with making this movie did a fantastic job! Plot, story, special effects and all the characters were perfect in this movie!

Please bring on Baron Zemo and the Masters of Evil for part 3!!!!

Did Kevin Feige or anyone ever say wether they will give some backstory on Nick fury for the general audiences? And possibly even show what happened to him in a flash back scene? If so when?

Fantastic movie and a sterling example of translating a comic book into a movie without taking shortcuts. Among the many things the movie got right (in the sense that they took something from the comic but modified it to fit a little bit better into the Marvel cinematic world) was the return of Zola. Great movie that raised the bar.

My favorite CBM. It's was just awesome on every level....storytelling, pacing, acting, thematics, action. Thumbs up.

I remember hearing people gasping in the theaters when Fury took his eyepatch off. ;-)

Near perfect movie, and for sure, the best Marvel film to date. The choreography and stunt work was incredible, and they kept the pace throughout.

Only complaint (which is so silly, so don't think I'm condemning anything) is how the hell did Batroc get away... AWAY away, in the middle of the Indian Ocean?

i went and saw Cap 2 again last night, loved it even more, my only complaint was i thought the nick fury car chase dragged alittle in the middle but when i saw it again,i was engaged in it completely, also the theater was decently packed for a movie that is in its third weekend, also they were legit Gasps and a couple of people had shocked expressions on their faces when it was revealed Bucky was the Winter Soldier, also the guardians trailer was shown it was a mix of confusion and :Oh man that looks really fun"" from people and when i first went and saw Cap, people dug the guardians trailer!!!

The eye reveal wasn't that thrilling to me. I was more excited when I noticed the quote left behind on Fury's grave.

Think Pulp Fiction, Brett, Bible Verses, Furious Anger...
