Apparently CAPTAIN MARVEL Won't Debut In AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
Despite reports earlier this week that plans were in place for Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel to make her big screen debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron next month, a new reports claims to debunk that. When will we see her join the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Read on for details...
Earlier this week, Latino-Review reported that Captain Marvel has already been cast and will make an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, Nerdist claims in the video above to have heard from sources close to the production that Carol Danvers won't be in Joss Whedon's sequel.
They don't provide any details about when and where she might instead debut and even add that she could turn up in an after-credits scene, so this is something of a half hearted debunking. After all, Latino-Review never said she would be in the main body of the movie (though it does sound like that's where Captain Marvel was included as she was included in early drafts of the script).
We'll just have to wait and see, but if Cartol has been cast, we'll inevitably hear something soon...
