With 2019 nearly upon us, Marvel Studios has released another kickass new TV spot from their first release of the year, Captain Marvel, which stars Academy Award-winner Brie Larson (Room) in the title role as the human-turned-Kree weapon Carol Danvers.

While plot details have unsurprisingly been kept under wraps,
for the most part, the recent trailer and new TV spots do seem to indicate that there may be a bit of a mystery/conspiracy element to the film as Carol attempts to uncover the truth about her mysterious dreams while also unraveling an unsettling truth about her true origins.
