As we count down the days to the New Year, Marvel Studios has released a cool TV spot for their upcoming Marvel adventure, Captain Marvel, which stars Academy Award-winner Brie Larson in the title role.
With 2019 nearly upon us, Marvel Studios has released another kickass new TV spot from their first release of the year, Captain Marvel, which stars Academy Award-winner Brie Larson (Room) in the title role as the human-turned-Kree weapon Carol Danvers.
While plot details have unsurprisingly been kept under wraps, for the most part, the recent trailer and new TV spots do seem to indicate that there may be a bit of a mystery/conspiracy element to the film as Carol attempts to uncover the truth about her mysterious dreams while also unraveling an unsettling truth about her true origins.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
