During the 76th Golden Globe Awards, Marvel Studios debuted a brand new TV spot for the next chapter in the blockbuster Marvel Cinematic Universe, the eagerly-awaited Captain Marvel, which stars Academy Award-winner Brie Larson (Kong: Skull Island) in the title role as Carol Danvers.
Additionally, the cover for the upcoming Marvel's Captain Marvel: The Art of the Movie book has been revealed, featuring fresh new concept designs for the many heroes and villains that will feature in the movie, including the characters played by Samuel L. Jackson, Jude Law, Ben Mendelsohn, Lashana Lynch, and more.

Set in the 1990s, Marvel Studios’ “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that follows the journey of Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes. While a galactic war between two alien races reaches Earth, Danvers finds herself and a small cadre of allies at the center of the maelstrom.
