Are you ready for Captain Marvel?

To help ring in the new year, Marvel Studios shared a pretty awesome motion poster for the upcoming movie last night, which features a couple of new shots of Brie Larson fully suited-up as the mega-powerful hero. Carol Danvers flies into theaters for her first solo outing in March, so we can probably expect to see marketing kick-up a notch in the coming weeks, as well as a final trailer at some point.

In related news, Hot Toys has released a teaser image for the upcoming Captain Marvel 1:6 scale collectible figure, giving us a detailed look at the character's costume.

Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

Captain Marvel flies into theaters on March 8, 2019.

@BiggerLuke - I am NOT ready for Captain Marvel.

I may actually have a personally embarrassing personal moment when she appears on screen.

"Higher, slower, further" in this case because the fire is moving pretty slowly on that poster.
