I thought the film wasn't that good, kind of overrated TBH. Can't doubt Marvel's power to dominate box offices though. Had a great time, but unlikely to repeat even when it comes to streaming and physical release.

@HeavyMetal4Life - No, this is a LIE. Because all the haters told us it was not even scratch $100 million.

Meanwhile, Disney shares closed today at $114.88. So my portfolio is HAPPY!!!!

@bropous - haha!! And don't forget, at least one user on here was saying that Marvel and Disney were angry with Brie Larson. Most of us could tell that was a B.S. rumor, but in case that wasn't evident...

@HeavyMetal4Life - Endgame is gonna MELT SCREENS, man. I was wearing one of my my Captain Marvel t-shirts when I went to the store, and the cashier and the guy who bags the groceries both asked me what I thought of the movie. My reply? "The BEST Marvel Studios film except for Endgame". I loved it THAT MUCH.

After two viewings the movie is still inside my head. Wanna go a third time. Not in my MCU top ten but nonetheless a solid introduction to Carol Danvers, who I really like as a character. Can't wait to see here role in Endgame and the MCU moving forward. After this huge opening weekend, you can bet she is here to stay!

I think @ForMeWasTuesday owes me some money 🤔

Anyway... Congrats to Brie, marvel, and everyone else who worked on the movie. The hateful people who wanted to sabotage the movie didn't do a good job.

As for the movie itself, I liked it. Dope movie with a lot to build on. I'm not a fan of these in the past prequels, tho I'm sure that's where the sequel will be.

Good numbers. Hopefully we'll get a better movie next time.
Also, the score was as forgettable as the movie, so I'm not sure why the composer is being hyped.
