Reports are coming in that Nicole Perlman and Meg LeFauve are nearing a deal to pen the Captain Marvel movie. Though they haven't actually worked together before, THR reckon the duo were teamed up after their separate ideas for a big-screen take on the Marvel Comics character impressed the studio's head honcho, Kevin Feige. No other details were provided, though The Wrap adds that Marvel are currently seeking a female director.
Perlman worked on the initial draft of Guardians Of The Galaxy and is also currently writing the Gamora comic for Marvel. LeFauve co-wrote Pixar's upcoming Inside Out, and also penned The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys.
