The brand new trailer for Captain Marvel is now online, and it's sure to get fans even more hyped for the space-faring hero's first solo adventure.
The footage kicks-off with Brie Larson's Carol Danvers (or should that be Vers?) giving Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) a crash course in the history of the Kree-Skrull war, which is a conflict earth's newest protector has made it her mission to bring to an end.
From there, we get some stunning shots of Cap in action, a better look at Ben Mendelsohn's villainous Skrull leader Talos, Jude Law's mysterious "Star Commander", and more. We also have the big reveal that Annette Bening is actually playing the Kree that took Carol in when she was young and trained her as a warrior.
The trailer ends with an awesome glimpse of Captain Marvel taking to the stars in full costume as she blasts away at some Skrull ships, and a funny little moment with Fury and his new feline friend.
Check it out, and let us know what you think in the comments.
Set in 1995, Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy's mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.
Captain Marvel flies into theaters on March 8, 2019.
