Captain Marvel merchandise is quickly starting to fill stores and it now appears as if they're revealing some spoilers about the Marvel Studios movie. While it's always important to take "leaks" like this with a pinch of salt, this Goose toy seemingly confirms that there will be more to Carol Danvers' cat than meets the eye in the highly anticipated release.
Just like his comic book counterpart (called Chewie), Goose is going to be an alien, and quite clearly a Flerken rather than a Skrull as some fans have theorised in recent months.
It will be very interesting to see how Goose factors into proceedings, especially as we've heard rumblings from test screenings that he steals the show (and if he's an alien, that obviously explains a lot). With merchandise like this now doing the rounds, we may soon find out whether or not Marvel chooses to keep Goose's true nature under wraps or if it's revealed in a TV spot.
