@OmegaDaGrodd - Trying to introduce the Shi'ar Empire before introducing the X-Men, Feige'd be like:

@soberchimera - I don't see why not. Imagine if the general audience loves a movie about the Shi'ar and the Starjammers and Corsair becomes a household name, and then a few movies into the (separate) X-Men Franchise, Cyclops and Corsair bump into each other and Scott's like... "Holy shit, Dad?!"

It'd play a lot stronger than doing the traditional introduction where it's telegraphed a mile off.

@Spock0Clock - Heh......Starjammers.

@soberchimera - We had Skrulls before the Fantastic Four... I see no reason to wait for the X-men before introducing the Shi'ar.

soberchimera - 1/24/2020, 6:12 AM
@Chewtoy - Marvel didn't have the rights to FF at the time, but they did have the rights to some Skrulls. And really, the Skrulls introduction into the MCU was pretty awful.

soberchimera - 1/24/2020, 6:16 AM
@Spock0Clock - Yeah, but the discussion we were having was about introducing the Shi'ar Empire in a Captain Marvel movie and we all saw how well the Skrulls were introduced in the MCU *sarcasm* And the Starjammers have never really worked as a solo series, there was a four-issue series by Warren Ellis and little else of repute. They work best as supporting characters for the X-Men.

Wonder if SLJ will appear in the sequel. Talos has to be involved.

I want Rogue to BTFO of Brie's Carol so damn much.
One day...

@Doomsday8888 - I would love for a Rogue CM brawl that leaves her in a coma for the next decade. Just like in the comics.

Rogue would be amazing but I think the X-Men need to be a little more established. I also don’t know if they should go the teenager route or woman in her late 20s route with Rogue (as I always kind of assumed she was in the comics).

How about ACTUALLY MAKING RONAN A THREAT?

I'd like to see Kree Sentries lead by Ronan, hunting Carol down. Let this guy loose.
Spock0Clock

I've got one word for you all, and it rhymes with Sadiator. The one guy so Badiator he can take down anyone in the universe when he gets Madiator. His symbol is a Triadiator! Hot like a Radiator! The One! The Only!

...[frick]... I forgot his name... Oh yeah! Gladiator.

@Spock0Clock - But then you make fun of his outfit, his confidence drops (which leads to a dip in power levels), and he gets beaten by Spider-man.

Moonstone would be nice and would be great to leave her to be part of the Thunderbolts down the line. It's a shame that Dr.Minn-erva isn't alive to have a descent fight with Carol.

Moonstone or Korvac.

@MCUKnight11 - Powered up Korvac should be too powerful for just Carol but it may be a means to introducing the character.

Gladiator or Deathbird would work well in expanding the MCU off-earth based peps. Could be a nice prelude to future X stories as well.

Bringing Rogue in as a villain (as in the books...Avengers annual 10) would work well also, but I think she would work best as a junior member of the brotherhood (also in AV Annual 10). Hell, have her tear through Carol and some of the other MCU players before taking her out.

Moonstone, yes please!!!
Katheryn Winnick would be great in that role, she can even direct the movie!!

#WinnickForMoonstone

Rogue? Great choice as well, we need an accurate life action version asap

The sequel better deal with this and not off-screen.
