We've been waiting four years for the Captain Marvel sequel, and when The Marvels is released in theaters this November, Carol Danvers will be joined by Ms. Marvel and Photon.

Thanks to Total Film, we now have two new stills from the movie putting the spotlight on Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and Zawe Ashton's Dar-Benn. The Kree warrior is the movie's big bad, and executive producer Mary Livanos has shed new light on what fans can expect from the character.

"Dar-Benn represents a new era of the Kree Empire after a cataclysmic encounter with Captain Marvel in the past," she explains. "So, from the ashes of the Kree Empire, Dar-Benn rose."

Secret Invasion seemingly brought an end to both the Skrull invasion of Earth and their conflict with the Kree. However, there's likely still a lot of resentment from the Kree when it comes to Carol's role in their downfall and the fallout from her battle with the Supreme Intelligence. With that in mind, Dar-Benn is likely out for revenge.

Check out these new stills from The Marvels below.

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.

The Marvels is currently set to arrive in theaters on November 10.
