CAPTAIN MARVEL Character Details Revealed Alongside A Fresh Look At Skrull Leader Talos And More

Some more details from Entertainment Weekly have been revealed about Captain Marvel and as well as new character bios, we also have fresh looks at the likes of Minn-Erva, Talos, Korath, and more...

Last week, we were treated to a huge number of new Captain Marvel details and stills but one final batch has now been revealed in the form of some scanned character images and bios as well as quotes from the movie's cast. Pretty much every supporting character is covered here, included Minn-Erva, Talos, Korath, and Nick Fury, with plenty of new details about what we should expect from the movie.

Rumour has it that the first trailer for Captain Marvel will be with us either this week or next but these are definitely good enough to keep us going in the meantime and we'll hopefully learn a lot more when that debuts online. So, to check out these character details, all you guys have to do is click on the "View List" button below. Once you've done that, be sure to share your thoughts in the comments section.

In the comics, Minn-Erva is one of Captain Marvel's greatest foes and it definitely appears as if this movie will lay the groundwork for that rivalry to start playing out somewhere down the line based on this description. As for Jude Law's unnamed Starforce commander, he definitely sounds like Mar-Vell.

Captain Marvel will clearly lay the groundwork for Ronan the Accuser and Korath to become the villains we met - and watched die - in Guardians of the Galaxy and what's going to be interesting is seeing how the latter ended up with those cybernetic implants in his head. Is Carol Danvers responsible?

How cool is that new look at Talos? Marvel Studios has clearly made some changes to the appearance of the Skrulls in order to bring them to the big screen in an effective manner but the comic books have clearly still been homaged in a very cool way. With any luck, though, they will look better in action.

As well as learning how Nick Fury lost his eye, we'll also see his first meeting with a superhero when he crosses paths with Captain Marvel. That and stopping the Skrull invasion is presumably what sets him on the path to both becoming S.H.I.E.L.D. Director and ultimately launching the Avengers Initiative.

We'll also get to meet a younger Agent Phil Coulson in Captain Marvel and seeing as we know he's a Captain America fanboy, don't be at all surprised if that comes into play here. If Nick Fury is just a desk jockey, chances are Coulson is only just starting out and that obviously has a whole lot of potential...

Um, alright.

He could be an amalgamation of Yon-Rogg and Mar-vell. Time will tell, I just feel like it would be cool to see Mar-vell in action for a bit.

Coulson looks exactly the same, though I'm not sure if he'll look like that in the movie.

I really, really hope they will not go with the "Mar-Vell's father of Carol"'s route. The MCU kinda abused on creating family connections to create more pathos in the previous movies.

Not a fan of the de aging gimmick but this time it looks really damn good with Fury. Wonder if it will live up in motion.

So disappointed by the skrulls. It's great that they went with makeup but the design itself is so [frick]ing awful along with the outfits. They deserve so much better.

^ Dude I was never a fan of the de-aging gimmick either. I re-watched Civil War recently and thought how weird these face-altering effects will look ten years from now. Some Cgi doesn't age well.

@GothamSon - Gotta disagree there mate, I genuinely think the de-aging used on RDJ is flawless looking.

@GothamSon - Civil War's was the worst use of it when it comes to Marvel. Almost as bad as Leia. Kurt Russel in Vol. 2 was the best so far I think.

I swear if I see "Desk Jockey" one more time, I'ma lose it!

Damn, I was so sure Law was playing Mar-Vell...

...Well, he still does in my dreams, I guess...

@Spock0Clock - He still could be, I guess. Also could be cool if he was Genis, and we get to watch him go cuckoo.

Still think Jude Law is playing a toned down Eon, just like how Kurt Russell was Ego

This movie will be the surprise hit of 2019 much like Black Panther was for this year.

Marvel Studios can't lose.

@BringFFtoMCU - I hope you're right. So far this is the first Marvel movie in ages I'm having concerns about. I'm getting phase 1 vibes, I mean Ironman 2 Thor the Dark World vibes from everything that's been revealed so far. I need to trust Marvel cuz only rarely ever have they let me down, but I'm currently cautiously reserved about this movie till I see the trailer and get a better vibe for what they are actually going for.

Does anyone get the Star Trek vibe when looking at the skulls? That’s not exactly a good thing imo it just looks like a human with some paint and pointy ears...
