We first got a look at the Captain Marvel concept art at San Diego Comic-Con a few weeks ago, and fans have been asking artist Andy Park for a hi-res version ever since. Unfortunately, Park is not allowed to share that just yet, but he has posted a much clearer, closer image for the time being.

The artwork depicts Kong: Skull Island actress Brie Larson as Carol Danvers in her superhero costume, which is very faithful to the outfit the character debuted in Kelly Sue DeConnick's relaunch back in 2012.

Captain Marvel will be directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck from a script by Nicole Perlman and Meg LaFauve. Production is expected to begin early next year.
