Earlier today, the first reviews for Captain Marvel blasted online and with that come a fresh set of box office projections. According to The Hollywood Reporter, tracking is currently pointing to the Marvel Studios movie debuting in North America with a mighty $125 million - $145 million. Some analysts believe it could go as high as $150 million over the weekend.

Whatever happens, it appears as if Captain Marvel is going to score the second-biggest opening for a Marvel Studios movie that introduces a new character behind only Black Panther. It should also top Wonder Woman's $103 million which is an impressive feat.

Overseas, Captain Marvel is taking aim at a massive $150 million opening as it's debuting in every territory except for Japan. In case it wasn't clear, all the signs are pointing to this being a massive box office hit and that's a good sign for Marvel Studios heading into Avengers: Endgame next month.
