The comic that kickstarted Superman, the DC universe, and gave birth to the modern superhero is currently on auction at Ebay. Since its orginal publication in 1938 It has been estimated that only 50-100 copies of this comic exist today. But what makes this specific comic even more rare is that it has been rated a 9/10 in terms of quality. And as the owner Darren Adams says in his description it is,

"The finest known copy of the most sought after comic book in the world. A 1938

museum piece with PERFECT WHITE pristine pages."

As it is sitting now the comic has a 1,750,200 USD offer. Keeping in mind that another

Action Comics #1 went for 2,161,000 (bought by Superman fan Nicholas Cage), the

comic's price could still go up.
