!Webmaster Note: All of the users that have had this issue so far were *using* an ad blocker program!

Hello there, for those who know me, know why I don't like to write articles that much. Simple, I just don't like typing that long. Though, this article is here to help the community so I thought it warranted me taking my time making this article for you lovelly CBMers.

Ok, we all know by now about those view obscuring advertisements on the side of the screen, so here's what you need to do.

1) Get Adblock if you haven't already.

2)Once you got Adblock, right click on those ads, and then scroll to Adblock, select remove the ad.

3)Now you should get a small window appear with a slider on it, adjust the slider until the Ad's are gone.

4)Enjoy CBM without those annoying, view obscuring Ad's.

And there you have it, it's as simple as that. Hope this helps to some of you struggling with them and the rest, who are annoyed by them constantly asking how to remove them in the comments, can just direct the people here.

Sure Nates loves seeing his revenue source removed by the massess ha, ha...(though I did this exact same thing) hey, they were inhibiting my viewing pleasure of the site ;) They also "float" on mobile too, but stay on the right, have to zoom in just right to get rid of it so you can read the content...

I am fine with Ad's on the site, I mean it's needed to keep it going, no disrespect to Nate, it's just them obscuring the view, thus inhibiting with us being able to read is I think warranted for this article :) I couldn't get rid of them by zooming in, so this was the only option bro xD

Simple way to not have these ads [frick] with your screen...Don't have adblock. Everyone that has the problem with the ads, uses adblock or a similar program. I haven't seen anyone make a complaint that doesn't use adblock.

i don't mind any ads on sites the only thing bothers me that they shouldn't get in way of reading.
on other hand I just zoom out a little bit(I can still read) on my browser and those ads stayed on the left side but not hovering on article. or other way remove them from node tab(only Temporary they'll come back soon you refresh page)

Yeah, the ads have always made this site close to unusable for me. Even worse on my phone. I mean, when you've got video ads that start blaring out sound, or ads covering half the story, then there's a problem. I'd happily disable my AdBlock on this site if the ads were formatted correctly to be subtly integrated in the site, and weren't so obtrusive.

Thanks for the heads-up, AXE. You are awesome and Happy Thanksgiving to you too. I have a weird question, has nothing to do with these annoying ads, but do you happen to know how to add videos to an article? Every time I try to do so, it always comes up with the URL instead of the video window itself and it's really annoying not being able to post up videos for the articles I post (had to resort to using GIFs for a lot of my other articles instead).

Thumbs up, and this should be featured on the front page too. Very helpful.

@FirstAvenger

I use Photobucket and there's 4 links on the side, for articles, click and copy the direct link, and for comments you can use the HTML link.

@ AXE

This article is great because you got TheClemster to convince his parole officer that it would be okay for him to sign back on to comment.
