The last 10 issues have been, for the most part, unreadable. Completely boring. I dropped this series because the issues have gotten so bad.

I actually like the character INVINCIBLE, and his series is pretty entertaining, sorta gives the 90s vibe era. Very underrated character.

I read like 2 issues of this and just couldn't get into it. As Spidey said above, its just Superman with gore, thats not really innovative. I rarely read Image comics, I don't like how the company was created, Writers and Artists that tired of Marvel and DC left to only create their own company that copied the Marvel and DC formula but made it EXTREME!!!!!!

The best part about the book is that Invincible isn't invincible.

@MrEko...my take is that if two issues cannot get you into the series than its not worth reading despite how well others consider it. The problem I have with Invincible is that its the ultimate product of the comics of the 90s, being gory and ultra realistic in its depictions of how fights should be is something I don't care for. I prefer the DC and Marvel way. and again I hate the way Image was created, It should have been better than what it was, is, and will be

@comicCritic87 - I completely agree with you, that if a series cant interest you in two issues, then there is no reason to continue.
BUT.... I dont understand your issue with Image. The writers and artists wanted more freedom. They wanted to profit from their creations rather than give everything to a corporate entity that turned around and dictated what to do with those creations.
The industry benefited as a whole from that move, you still have Marvel and DC. But now artists can make a living off of what they create and be their own boss with creative freedom. As a creator myself, I cant imagine a better reason to start up a company like Image. And being your own boss IS the american dream.

This series is really good. It has some interesting sub stories, like his mom becoming an alchy and many other things that go on. It follows the formula of a teenager getting powers and trying to live both lives, but it is robert kirkman and he is a great writer. I really hope that this gets some movie love, if we were really lucky we would get it on hbo or showtime as a series. That will never happen but it would be awesome.

@Tevii....I believe that writers and artists should be given their own freedoms to create stories, however the stuff that Image was doing at the 90s were rip-offs of ideas that Marvel and DC were doing at the time
