Whoa, whoa, whoa! I see two things wrong here:
1) Why are both Wolverine and Beast fighting AGAINST the X-Men? They should be fighting WITH them, not against them. I mean, seriously. You would rather fight against your own kind than fighting with them?
2) When the hell did Colossus turn into the freakin' Juggernaut? When did that happen, and why did that happen?

Stay EPIC, my friends!

That's a lot of screaming on the cover, no wonder why they are fighting. Perhaps if everyone took turns explaining (instead of all yelling at once) their grievances, they would be able to settle things peacefully.

Other than that, this looks to be pretty cool.

why did they show wolverine fighting captain america in the previous advertisement then? They should have beast fighting for the xmen too.

Wolverine will be the dick of the year. Stick with a team that has barely treated you right, over the team thats been family to you.

why is wolverine fighting with the avengers if they had a teaser that showed wolverine fighting captain america??

@spidey63 he turned into juggernaut after that sub-par "fear itself " event.

You know, if they all were fighting to actually KILL one another, Team Avengers would annihilate. Just sayin'.

Bad guys must be getting fat sitting at home on the couch while the heroes fight each other again.

Maybe Marvel can have a Un-Civil war where bad guys fight bad guys.

Sinister six vs The Brotherhood or Masters of Evil vs Serpent society... or maybe not.

Did all of the good writers go to DC or something?

the cover looks awesome. but...i gotta agree. wolvie and beast fighting against their fellow mutants (even if they're avengers) makes NO sense AT ALL.

and the invulnerable COLOSSUS wearing the juggernaut helmet...why da heck for...?!!

i'd rather see a showdown of either the avengers vs. their ultimate versions or the squadron supreme.

I have no problem with Wolverine and Beast fighting for the Avengers. Beast is obvious as he left the X-Man a long time ago, back when Fraction was still writing Uncanny. He had a big problem with Cyclops and Utopia and all that stuff.

Also, after Schism, Wolverine wants nothing to do with Cyclops. I'm guessing that since Cable's aggression started all this, Cyclops will side with him, and Wolverine will want nothing to do with him.

My guess is that this is Avengers vs. Cyclops's X-Men.

Cable stirs up so much crap these days you wonder why someone hasn't tried to kill him yet. Unless, they have but he comes back for some apparent reason. If so, they need to do a better job.

Love the idea of the Avengers against the X-men, but how does Wolverine and Beast end up on the Avengers side and Iceman and Rogue stay on the X-men side?
SageMode
SageMode - 1/16/2012, 4:32 AM
I for one thinks that it's VERY cool how Marvel shows heroes battling it out against each other instead of the usual good guy vs bad guy comic book staple. It emphasizes the "real world" approach of opposing views and ideologies from people on the same side of doing what they believe is the right thing. Keep it up MARVEL!
