I heard that Ant-Man #1 was really, really good. The comic shop near my place was sold out of it.

"Oh look... a man in a bear costume is attacking me... wait, i know. I'll jump at his claw allowing him to slam me against the wall" ¬.¬

In addition the cover, while pretty, kind of emphasises a big issue with most the situations. If his strength increases OR his strength is the same as his grown size then he should easily be able to break out of that Snow globe...

Same situation with Grizlly, if Ant-Man still has the same level of strength as a human then he should have been able to stop the claw from pinning him.

Only in superhero comics can someone casually state that they were once dead.

First issue was fine. Creative and a solid set up despite being a bit "meh" at points.

Now that someone mentioned it. Ant-Man vs Man-Thing would be pretty awesome in so many ways.
