Jim Lee's art sucks.

Leave JL to one of these :

Ivan Reis
Nicola Scott
Gene Ha
Kenneth Rocaford
Greg Capullo
David Finch

etc.

I never could get into DC. I read the above & their issue on FCBD, but I yearned for Marvel characters to show up. There were also bits in their JLA comic that were just laughable.

The art looks like classic Jim Lee, ive put way to much on my plate and drawn way to much for any one man on the planet earth to able to deal with without getting burnt out, art.

This same thing happend to him after the second X-men series and the early Wildcats run. Jim lee is one of my top 3 artists of all time and changed comic art when he did the X-men but when he puts to much on his shoulders it makes his art suffer a little.

HIS BAD ART LOOKS A HELL OF A LOT BETTER THAN MOST.

I'M JUST SO GLAD HE'S NOT DOING THAT STUPID SHINY ARCHIE HAIR AND TRYING TO LOOK LIKE J SCOTT CAMBELL. NOW THAT SCARED ME FOR A WHILE.

I like the Anti-Monitor nod (or: classic heroes slip through triumphant villain cover). While I DO agree that Jim Lee DOES get better every day, I think I'm just completely over him. Maybe because I'm no longer 13, or I'm just looking for something different. He's a great choice for JLA though; he should stick with that flagship title and make it more of an Era, not a guest spot

I'm not a big fan of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee's redesigns of almost all the characters of DC looks like TRON influenced...look at the costumes of Superboy and the Teen Titans.

That variant cover looks like a take on an old Justice League of America cover that had the whole JLA in the palm of a Lion-headed villain (forgot the name... back in the days when it used to be fun... and had the team as gladiators fighting in the arenas run by animal-man creatures..
