COMICS: Obama Is Packing Heat On The Cover Of THE OTHER DEAD #1

When the POTUS graces a comic cover, that issue tends to sell VERY well indeed (The Amazing Spider-Man #583 for example) and it seems IDW fancy a bit of that action. Check out the cover to their new animal zombie comic after the jump..

“A motley cast of characters has no choice but to battle the dead, using a hefty amount of firepower and whatever else is at their disposal.”

You should try to pick up a copy of this when it premieres in September, as apparently that issue of The Amazing Spider-Man I mentioned is the best selling comic book of the 21st century! But aside from that The Other Dead sounds pretty cool: Instead of human brain-eaters, it's the Earth's animal population that are zombified! The series debuts September 11 2013 (a very specific date that obviously sheds a bit of light on that interesting cover above) with the creative team of Joshua Ortega (Gears of War), Digger T. Mesch (Agent 88), and Kevin Eastman (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).
