Geez Steve if they're not gonna retire you for a while I don't see the point in making Falcon the new CA

This whole plot is stupid. No one needs to die, if the Incursions are placed on Earths then why the [frick] don't they just re-locate to another planet?

During the Planet X storyline the mutants all get moved on to another world where they never, not once have to suffer an Incursion because their Earth was killed by a Celestial, why don't the Avengers just do that except for everyone?

Its especially jarring because they've got guys like Ex Nihilo turning Mars, a frequently thought of replacement for Earth, into a fertile, habitable planet to live on. Just de-populate Earth to another world like it, rebuild from scratch there and destroy the abandoned Earth yourselves before the incursion can and problem solved.

@TheRealRemyLebeau

The way to break the loop is to obviously destroy Earth of a universe is so that it can't collide into another. In the Uncanny Avengers Planet X storyline, a Celestial destroys Earth and the mutants are teleported over to another planet where they spend many years living in relative peace and without the fear of Incursions.

So obviously the answer is= use the planet shapers to make a habitable world (like Ex Nihilo), teleport the people of Earth to said planet and then use the Illuminati planet bombs to destroy the vacant Earth so it can't collide into or be collided into another universe.

If there's no Earth, there is no incursion point at all. None of the other planets have ever been shown crashing into one another like this, it is always solely Earth. So yeah, de-populating Earth and going to another planet that's not in danger of being blown the [frick] up every nine ours seems perfectly viable.

Yes we are, however heroes from one universe don't concern themselves with others unless they're bot threatened by something. If the 616 people did pull of my plan they probably would've saved quite a few worlds without the current story-lines plot induced stupidity.

Hell they could've even traveled to other universes and shared their plans with them as well. Eventually most of the Incursion points would vanish without any Earths to collide on and everything would've worked out just fine for many different Earths.

But again, I think the story could've worked but Marvel screwed it up by letting Remender create a big storyline in his own run on Avengers that blatantly messes up Hickman's entire premise.

Couldn't get into this Avengers series and the premise of this version of "New Avengers" annoyed me since it was nothing like the concept of what New Avengers meant since it began. Secret Wars seems more like a stunt than an interesting story, so I probably won't read that either.

Currently just reading Miles Morales, Amazing Spider-man, Hawkeye, and getting into Black Widow.

@ekrolo2 they actually do say that Earth is the center point of the universe. The universe is blinking out of existence and the world builders feel it. The world builders mention it to Exnihlio. Wait, not the world builders, the girl thing that has more power than Exnihlio. Forgot the characters name. If earth is decimated the rest of the universe goes with it. Hence, why they are trying to save earth in this particular dimension.

@BIGBMH give Ant-Man a try. I was surprised, but I think it's the writers of Superior Foes of Spiderman which I loved. I hope they can keep the pace with that series. Of course, I went in to it with low expectation.

@TheRealRemyLebeau - I know those are different versions from the other worlds, but I've noticed that even though Sam is the 'official' one, Steve is still throwing down with them like in Axis. So all I'm sayin is that if he's still gonna go at it with them then there really wasn't a need for them to make Sam the new CA yet. And you guys are right that 616 is all up in the way. Moving all the people on the planet would be a good idea like they did in Uncanny, but that just depends on how fast Nihlio and Abyss could create a suitable environment for the population including game and vegetation. Don't they have a plan for all of this like a 'Galactus Protocol' or something? haha

@sicknimon, Thanks for the tip. Always happy to find more good series, although it may be more affordable to keep my reading list small.

@sicknimon

That's factually proven wrong though. In Uncanny Avengers a Celestial straight up destroys the entire planet, leaving nothing behind and nothing happens to the rest of the universe. They keep going as they were before. It also can't be in that bad of a shape if entire years pass later in which the mutants make a highly advanced civilization on another planet without any universal decay or threat of incursion.

Once again, Hickman had a good story-line that Marvel effectively [frick]ed by having another story-line show how toothless, pointless and easily avoidable issue it actually is.

If you have been reading you would know that the act of the two earths colliding is what destroys both universes. The whole time they have been destroying one earth to save both universes. The absence of an earth evades the universe destroying impact.

By evacuating the earth and destroying it they would just be passing off the problem to another, less equipped universe and chances are the entire multiverse would end. These are heroes, so obviously they are going to fight till the end and try and save all of existence throughout the multiverse.

Its really not that complicated.
