The redesign is neat and all, but from what I have seen this looks like it doesn't fit in continuity at all. I was thinking about getting into Batgirl New 52, but I am reconsidering. Can anyone tell me if this fits what was previously going on?

This is a soft reboot and is very much it's own thing away from what was before.

I think years from now we'll look back on stuff like this fondly regardless of whether we like it or not. It certainly fits the time we live in.

Also, it's Batgirl so I think this style fits her. Batman, not so much.

I don't like it. I was anticipating it, hoping the inside would be as good as the covers, but nope. But maybe I'm not the target, so that's okay, but it just look like a mix of manga and cartoon, and nothing superhero-ish.

It's cool that DC is trying to get more invested with its female readership, but it shouldn't be at the detriment of the male one. This just looks very girly. I doubt it will have much success with the male readership past the first couple of issues. Hopefully the female one will be enough to keep the book going, Batgirl is a cool character.

People are going ON & ON about this change to her suit....I guess it's a fine design, but wheat I don't like about this whole re-design is that Barbara has gone from being 20-25 year old woman to a 16 year old girl?! WTF DC!

So Babs is a skank now or what? Love the art though.

how clice and lazy. our new batgirl is an unoriginal hipster, the artwork looks like a ton of crap and the new costi=ume is one of the worst the new 52 has pulled out of their ass
