Today Artist Dan Fraga showed us 11 pages pages of his unpublished Superman Comic from 2003 on his via his Blog. Why didn't it make it to print? DC lost many on his original artwork.

During 2003, DC hired Dan to do one issue of Superman here is what he thought: " I was ecstatic to say the least. This was my first time working on a DC hero and I wanted to make it extra special. Below are the pencils for the first 11 pages then the layouts for pages 14-22" "I would love to show you the pencils for the rest of the book, though frankly speaking, I'm lucky to have scans of any of the pages. See, DC lost ALL of my originals. Yes, you read right; not one or a few pages, all of them. This stuff will never see print, unless of course they actually find the originals"

Great artwork but the chest emblem is a bit oversized. Other than that this is some good work. I'm guessing "lost" = pilfered. I find it hard to believe someone actually lost EVERY page.

that fourth page, with supes flying down, his legs look like massive tree trunks. The art work fits superman pretty well i think, clean cut art work. To bad they lost it ...

But atleast it reads well.

Don't like his figures.Superman's rib cage is far too bulbous,as are his shoulders and arms.I doubt DC lost the work.More likely they simply decided not to go to print with that story. Otherwise they'd have had a month without an issue.Since they didn't have a missing month they must have had another issue on the go at the same time, which they picked over this one.

Meh...I think, though he is a brilliant artist, all of his characters faces look alike.

This is some amazing art work, except for the massively huge eyebrows on Supes around the begining.
