Batman, Incorporated will come to an end with this July's issue #13. Writer Grant Morrison will finally end the epic run which began with the story that introduced the now deceased Damian Wayne to the DC Universe. Even before the launch of "The New 52", the whole concept of Batman Inc. was very much Morrison's, so perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise that the series will end when HE leaves the title. This news will more than likely come as a huge relief to comic book fans who are already laying down a lot of money on the massive selection of Bat-books on stands.

• FINAL ISSUE
• Batman saves the world and loses everything.

My assumption is that Batman/Superman is considered the replacement title for Batman Inc. It makes the most sense.

Damn. This was one long run of Batman stories. Mr Morrison it was good while it lasted. Let's see what writer can put Batman through more stress than he received in Morrison's run!

Batman should be the one and only Batman. Not part of a Batman Corps.

Meh, the whole spark that Batman Inc had died in the reboot, but Morrison just HAD to end this garbage so well, there you have it.

Glad this is ending, even though I've read it from the start (pre-New 52). I liked the concept of "Batman Inc." but it never really felt like it was executed well.

What the hell is with all the "Glad this is over" / "Good riddance" shit. It's MASTERFUL, but if you wanna stick with Snyder's boring writing, that's your choice.

Yes, he's boring. Hate me. Go Ahead.

Keep Batman concentrated on the city he and his father were concerned with, Gotham!

Policing the world is for the superheroes with stupid fairytale level powers and abilities like Superman and Green Lantern.

I can see a day when DC has to set up a separate 52 titles focusing solely on Batman. And he'd also have like 10 titles or appearances in the other 52 featuring the rest of the DC universe.

cool, cuz batman has way too many titles and it can leave you broke! i still got my superman and marvel titles to pick up, and batman has at least 2 books that come out every wednesday.

I never understood why there was a Batman, Inc. in the 1st place. The idea that there is/could be more than one Batman was stupid to me. Then again, so is having a stealth plane to fight street crime.
jimdotbeep
jimdotbeep - 4/6/2013, 2:54 PM
Seriously?!!! We're supposed to take yet another "shock" death of Batman seriously?!! We're supposed to believe that Warner Bros. and DC is permanently killing off their greatest Cash Cow?!! The WB and DC should concentrating on making the Justice league book not suck ass, getting Damian Wayne Back, and Getting the DC Cinematic Universe off the ground.
