Am I the only one that likes the Earth-2 outfits better than main continuity redesigns?

The only 0 issue I will be buying is Green Lantern (I think Baz is an awesome addition) and Aquaman...THATS IT!!! The new 52 reboot has flooded DCs demographic with mediocore story telling and characters I just dont care about. Also why is Justice League 3.99 but all the other solo hero books are 2.99?? Just curious.

Earth 2 Batman looks like Smallville comic Batman.

Love all the covers. Great artwork. I'm looking forward to the Batman Detective Comics issue.

Is storm watch going to be the authority and with their actual power levels?

I'm wondering because those stories were practically world altering

@MrEko
I was just about say the same thing. I loved Midnighter's old costume, it was like a mix between Batman and Blade. I'm not usually against costume redesigns but Midnighter's costume change just looks terrible.

So, Action Comics Superman looks like Cavill or am I seeing things?

As for the DCnU: can't wait for it - and it's 90s rehash feel - to go away.

The Action Comics cover is the best out of all of them here. It's the most different and creative. Great pose and pencilling. The coloring is a little too airbrushy and blurry. They should've added more shadow... Kinda looks like college student coloring... But still a nice cover.

I like the Earth 2 comic also...

And what the hell happened to Power girls tig ol' bitties?!? smh

When they first released these covers it was stated they were promo pieces. Who knew DC would just slap a 0 on the cover with the title logo and call it a day? Either way I'll still be getting Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Dial H and Earth 2.

"New 52" sucks so much ass.

@SanWInchester, it's hardly that black or white dude. They've certainly gotten a lot of things wrong (Green Arrow, Tim Drake). Hell even Justice League has had subpar, out of character stories so far. But you can't say Animal Man, Swamp Thing and Batman have been anything short of brilliant.

@Stigmartyr
most likely to keep with the notion that superman hadn't figured out how to fly early in his superman career.

Most of them don't really look all that new-looking compared to other covers these series have had.

Nice. Glad they didn't keep Liefeld around for some of these, because everyone would be having really bad Early-Image flashbacks.
